Amazon Brazil
ABWE Aviation Program

Lloyd Peace Family

I am a missionary kid from the Amazon. I was about 4 years old when my parents began serving there with ABWE. God has called me back to work alongside the Ticuna Indians and Brazilian nationals.

I earned a BS in Bible from Faith Baptist Bible College in Ankeny, IA. In 1999, I earned an AA degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology (A&P mechanic) from Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa, IA. While in college, I earned my private pilot license and have since earned my commercial license with sea plane rating (floats). My wife has served on several short term mission trips to Mexico, India, and Brazil. In fact, I met her while she was serving as a nurse at the Amazon Baptist Hospital. We have three children, Julia (2000), Jessica (2002), and Jacob (2003).

We plan to be involved with church planting in the upper Amazon Region of Brazil. The float plane as well as a boat serve as modes of transportation. The Lord has particularly burdened me to work with training national leadership. We will be involved with evangelism and discipleship as well.
